Great actor- loved him in "The Freshman" and "Good Morning, Viet Nam". His father was also a fine character actor, Bruce Kirby.

I always liked his turn in "This is Spinal Tap" as the limo driver, telling the heavy metal bandmembers about Frank Sinatra.
