This is not overly exciting, but it's a slow day. MY wife and I attended the John Mayer/Sheryl Crow concert at PNC Arts Center last night and saw Cory Booker with 2 burly body guards escorting him to his seat. They stood sentry nearby while Cory drank a beer in relative obscurity. Most of the fans had no idea who he was....just curious as to why he needed body guards. He looks a little like the Nets' Richard Jefferson, but not as tall of course. Interestingly, he appeared to go backstage after the Sheryl Crow set and never returned to his seat for John Mayer.
By the way, both performers were excellent. Sheryl is a great singer and obviously has a lot more material to choose from, but John is an excellent musician with good stage presence and women (and/or girls) go crazy for him.
Sure, I was a little jealous of his youth and charisma, but he doesn't have Mrs. SOSully, now does he??  |

Ms. Crowe is a financial supporter . Sharpe James also has 2 bodyguards , they were both with him in Rio a couple of weeks ago . Mayor Booker has recieved crediable death threats from Newark drug gangs who like the status quo. |

Jamens was on one of my flight not to long ago and had his boys with him...
Cory has indeed recieved a lot of threats from the bloods/crips, but he is still living the same place and I have to tip my hat to dat |
