I can't get used to seeing PF so hairless. My little sister used to have a poster of him her bedroom wall (Frampton Comes Alive time), all hairless chest, open shirt and long blond curls. She looked a lot like him, and I used to tease her about her infatuation. (I was more sophisticated (being 10 years older) and preferred John Lennon and similar). |

Ah yes, Frampton Come Alive. One of my favorites! Think I may have had that poster too. Didn't recognize PF when I first saw him like this. Guess we're all gettin' old, eh? |

I didn't watch the show, Tom. Seemed entirely too pathetic to me! |

Guilty...I recorded it on Tivo for laughs but I couldn't hold out & stay in the room, as I was too embarrassed for them...so now I'm here |

Is Peter Framption the right-wing gun nut or is that Ted Nugent? What's the difference between those two anyway? |

That's Ted Nugent. I remember making a Peter Frampton rag doll for an art project in grammar school. He had lost a good amount of his guitar collection in a plane crash way back I think. I believe his spiral down began with the "Sergant Pepper" movie with the BeeGees. |

I have no idea whatsoever if Cheech can sing (and I don't care), but I'll bet Frampton can still play some tasty licks on guitar. |

Hey, let's not knock Cheech, here. He's managed to pull off an actual acting career. And those of you from Jersey City / Hoboken -- was I the only one who referred to Marin Blvd as Cheech Marin Blvd, mostly to amuse myself?

or Cheech Marin County if youre from Northern California? Id go see Peter Frampton. He's had some bad luck along the way...including the car crash in Bermuda where he almost died and had some serious arm damage where he wasnt able to play guitar (right around the time of Sgt. Pepper's, another fiasco he was roped in to)...then he was making a sort of Humble Pie reunion with Steve Marriot (from the Small Faces originally), writing and recording a few songs, then Marriot died in a house fire. S, I know youre upset because Frampton is shown dueting with Cheech Marin (with his greatest musical number, the kid-oriented, "My Name is Cheech, The School Bus Driver")...because Frampton also guested on what is arguably the best Beatles solo project, "All Things Must Pass". |

p.s. Frampton also played lead guitar on one of the Bowie tours, I think the one where Bowie started off with Stevie Ray Vaughan but soon had a falling out. Frampton and Bowie both went to school together, where Frampton's father was Bowie's teacher..both had bands in school but didnt play in the same band. |

I dig Cheech. Who's Peter Frampton and why did he insist on coming alive again? |
