I saw the first two episodes and missed the third (a TiVo mistake) I still love "24" but it's getting silly. Last season Jack survived a nuclear explosion (duck and cover!), died during torture, came back to life, etc and so on. Now he's a heroin addict who throws his works across the room and refuses a methedone program. If he can score heroin why can't he cop some methedone? Kim's a computer expert? I thought she was a nanny! Enough of my rant - what happened last week? I heard that the kid who was smuggling the coke was actually infected with the virus, is that all I need to know? |

Contact "Tom" and ask him to borrow the copy of the episode I ran off for him. You still have time before Tuesday. |

I really want to like this season but....I thought for sure that they were going to put Kim in charge so Michelle could go to the hospital. I'm glad Jack kicked Chase's ass. Being a government agency I would think that there would be some sort of protocol on who would be in charge after Michelle.....and why the hell is Kim in on this meeting? And who the hell is she to tell off Chloe...she needs to get the virus or something... Like I said..I really want to like this season.... |

Chloe is a dud....but, I have a theory that she'll somehow end up saving the day. I figure...she's so Nosy that she'll discover that that one guy is a double agent and foil their plan somehow. |

I must have read that wrong, Tom. us2innj gave you this past Tuesday's episode? If it was indeed this past Tuesday's, I'd gladly join the waiting list. |

Pippi - The last 5 minutes were really fun, I paused 3 X's to prolong the suspense. It's time for you to get TiVo (on sale at Costco for $314) and season pass "24". I don't want to spoil it for anyone, I'll just say that I loved the confusion Jack caused at the very end.

Cutter - I understand the Dish tapes just like Tivo. Unfortunately, it's not moron-proof. I turned the box off! I forgot I was taping something (I try to conserve energy when I can) Thanks for not spoiling it, I am still counting on someone coming through with a tape before next Tuesday - Tom? us2innj? Help? Jim? I need a fix - no pun intended. |

I don't know about Dish, but TiVo never turns off, it even works during blackouts - it records through the phone lines. Watch the tape from Jamie and then we can chat about the new plot twists.

For my birthday, and just in time for being snowed in, the family bought me the entire first season on DVD. Of the last 24 "real" hours, 11 of them have been "24" hours. This is out of control. Every one it's like, "just one more episode THEN I'll stop!!" |

We watched the first two seasons on DVD - and I agree it is so very addicitive. I am watching the third season on Tuesday nights now and it is just not so much fun not to be able to stay up til 3am for "just one more hour"! |

Funny stuff about the trials of being Kim... http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/2003-12-09-24-sidebar_x.htm http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/news/2003-12-09-24-kim-main_x.htm |

I think everybody's a little too tough on Kim. I haven' seen any of season 2 yet (I just gave up four full days of my life to watch season 1), but she was just a stupid teenager doing stupid teenager things, wasn't she? |

Loved it! They have a knack for skewering you when you think you've got it figured out. |

Awesome episode - loved the cliffhangers last week too. I thought after a few seasons, I'd start seeing the same patterns and it wouldn't be as much fun. But so far - they haven't disappointed. They always do seem to make one person look really guilty - such as Gael - who turns out to be a good guy. And each episode just leaves you craving the next. One note - if you just got turned on to 24 and want to watch the previous seasons 2 seasons - make sure you watch them in order. Watching season 2 first would ruin the twist in season 1. |

thanks for the link, ronzio. not as good as seeing it first-hand of course, but definitely covers the major drama points to keep current. maggie |
