The "On the Mark" jazz quartet is playing this Friday might in Maplewood, with Paul Adler on drums, Jake McNulty on guitar Sam Budish on vibes, and CHS student Kyle Bann on bass. I think that they are going to trot out their version of Corea's Spain, and other jazz standards.
They are playing at the Village Coffeehouse in Maplewood, diagonally across the street from the Maplewood Movie Theater. Music starts about 8PM.
On the Mark has played at NetNomads several times in the past. They are comprised of 14 and 15 year olds from Millburn and Columbia High Schools. Several of the members were in the all-region ensembles last year.
