Well, meastro, you pretty much covered them all!

But you missed Chuck Prophet. I'm in love with Chuck Prophet. I forget the name of the CD.

I like the new THe Thrills song on FUV but haven't heard the whole CD. Same with Los Lonely Boys.

Good list L'Angelo. I just came back from London and saw Belle and Sebastion. While I like their records I didn't think much of them live. They recreate their recorded sound with a ton of string players but they don't add anything live.

You forgot Elvis Costello's North, it takes awhile to sink in.

Oh Yea add Lewis Taylor-Stoned. This guy has 3 CD's out, all terrific but not one of them is released in the States. He's like Marvin Gaye mixed with some modern electronica, incredible vocals and great guitar stuff. You can get it on Amazon UK. I don't know who the knucklehead is who didn't want to release this in the States but he/she should be fired. HIGHLY recommended

Re: North - I thought about adding it to my list, but haven't listened to it enough yet to say it's "one of the best" - notwithstanding my love of EC's music.

I've been hearing about Grandaddy a lot lately, but haven't actually heard them yet. I'm looking forward to it.

What I REALLY REALLY want? New CDs from Garland Jeffries and from Amy Correia. Sigh - maybe someday they will record new ones.
