Met a friend for a very rare girls night out. Yummy food and really great music. Only thing is, the music was so loud it was hard to have a conversation.

I know, I know, I can't have my cake and eat it too. The music was really, really wonderful.

Hope to visit there again soon.

"Just had a very nice evening at Cent'anni!"

In our opinion, Libby and I feel every night at Cent'anni is a nice evening, and yes, the music is really, really wonderful.

Cent'anni's over its long and successful history has become an institution in Maplewood, and always the first place we think of for having a party, going for dinner, or having a cocktail after work. Thanks to Chris and his family, for maintaining and improving the one place locals can count on for great food and service, and that warm old fashion hometown feeling.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday's, and good luck and continued success in the New Year...

As one of the musicians playing with the Scott Buck band on Thursday night, I thank you.

Gee, I thought we were playing low.

Uke, as my friend said, we were sitting right next to the stone wall and it was probably bouncing right back at us.

And I did love the music. I just don't get to see this friend often, so we had a lot to talk about. If I could have enjoyed the music and a conversation I would have had the best of both worlds!

What instrument were you playing?

Meandtheboys, Uke was playing bass and I was on drums - thanks for coming... and for the compliment.
Also, we tried to watch the volume but it was a bit difficult to control last night due to the different floor setting (Christmas tree had us position ourselves more upfront). Also, we had some crowd who wanted it a little bit louder than usual.

If you liked the music, watch this forum: we'll be performing next year and I'll put the announcements right here.

Again, thanks for coming and for the kind words.

Gosh, I wish I had known it was you guys. I would have said hello.

I commented to my friend that night that I'm just so impressed by the amount of talented people we have in these towns!

Attended Blues for Kids--another group of local musicians--at the Burgdorff a couple of weeks ago and was totally blown away then too! The kids were in a "mood" and acting like a couple of piss-ants, but by the end I was up and dancing. Couldn't help myself!

So, I'll keep an eye out for the Scott Buck band, and get ready to call the sitter!

It really was a good time. Yes - the music was a wee bit too loud for us to talk - maybe it was the stone wall - maybe it was because I'm getting older...nah, definately the stone wall.

delicious food - great music - close enough to walk to - yeah, we'll be back.
