If all goes as planned and the stars line up properly (and the construction guys get finished!), Friday night (Jan 6) will be the grand opening of HttA in its new form, serving alcohol. The fact that they will serve alcohol but still be non-smoking is pretty unique.
I will have the honor of playing there on that night with my band. The music is a wonderfully eccletic mix of blues, soul, country, rock and more. Some Hendrix, Little Feat, Marvin Gaye, The Band, AL Green, Merle Haggard, Dwight Yokum, Delbert McClinton, Stones, etc. We have been playing every month at the Black Horse Pub in Mendham for the past three years. It will be fun to bring this group to a new venue. Tom Rice on Guitar, Harp and Vocals, Terry Hemmer on Bass and Vocals, Mitch Eisenberg on Guitar, Baritone Guitar and Slide, yours truly on Drums and Vocals.
We'd love for you to come on down (or up, or over as the case may be) and celebrate with Art, Willie and the rest of us. We should start playing at about 9PM.
See you there!

We'll play until Art throws us out! My guess is that we will play until about 11:30-12 or later, as long as there are people there.

Well, it seems that all will not be ready for the big opening tomorrow night so Art has cancelled the show! Sorry all. See ya next time. By the way, if you were really anxious to hear this band, you could always come up to the Black House Pub on Rt 24 in Mendham on Saturday night. There's great food, nice libations and of course the band.

Folks,

We apologize for the delay...we are still waiting for a response from the state on a couple of important issues. Sometimes things take a little longer than anticipated. We are hoping to open in the very near future. I will keep you updated as we progress.

In the meantime, thanks for your patience, we look forward to serving you shortly,

Art

Art I'm sorry to hear there is a delay. But you know why they say "Good things come to those who wait..."

Art, I am sorry that things have slowed some. I cannot wait to see the revamped place, even though I don't drink. Also, once my wife's project rolls out, I might could come down for one of them thar open mic nights and play some music.

Art:

Are you now open in your present format or are you completely closed until the State approvals are all in?
