Me, too. 'Course it was my 12 year old that had me buy it. I love that kind of pop!

oh, yes but we've been listening to them for a few years (tip off from home). Little Bookgal is a huge fan, we went to see them at MSG and she had a blast (I did, too). She got the DVD over the holidays and loves it.They are smart and fun and don't take themselves too seriously. They talk up and support other Scottish bands and that is good news. There has been some really interesting and fun music coming out of Glasgow for the last few years.

The Archduke? I thought he was dead.

He's dead but he can really rock. I also saw the show at the MSG theater. Really great.

I found them from a little interview with David Bowie. He was asked what he was listening to, and he said Franz Ferdinand, so I figured I'd like it.

Now I see it on best album lists of the year. I love it when I can like something new!

I've been addicted to them since October. Usually my band addictions wear off after a month or two, but this one is longlived. The band ROCKS. I can't stop listening to them.

Makes sense that Bowie would be listening, as they're very late 70's & 80's "new wave" influenced. Love em.

Yes, I can almost hear David Bowie singing.
