Hi Folks, Can you provide some good ideas for a value packed home based birthday party? The party size would be for about 10 children. Last year we held the party at the Messy Artist. That was a great value. This year we'd like to try to do something at home. If the price is right we would consider holding the event outside the home. Suggestions? Thanks.

Dairy Queen on Morris Ave in Union does an incredible party. The kids decorate and get to keep their own ice cream cakes, get full lunch, they do a demo cake decorating of a full size cake which the birthday child takes home, they play games and the birthday child gets a stuffed animal to take home. |

Get Pizza Dough from Trattoria in Maplewood. Have the kids make their own pizza. We just did this for my four year old and had a great time. (afterwards we did games like "Pin the Mushroom on the pizza", etc.) PL me if you want more info. |

Dairy Queen is a great idea but $1350.00 doesn't sound very price/value (I called DQ for more info). I'll check the other recommendations out too. I'm still looking... |

I'm a DJ. My company is called The Party Maniac and we've done many birthday parties for young kids. Since I'm a Columbia High School student out prices are very reasonable. We've done crafts, games (like pin the tale on the donkey, freeze dance, and limbo)dances (like the chicken dance and the hokey pokey). We have music for all ages including a huge selection of childrens music. We also do circus acts and balloon twisting. Our email adress is partymaniac@gmail.com and our Phone # is 201-618-1338

When my son turned 3, we used Junior Jam. They come to your house/hall/restaurant, and entertain the kids with various songs. The kids participate in the songs too, so it's a lot of fun, and not too crazy. The number is (732) 246-2466. |
