Cafe Mozart in Chatham...My wife planned one there for a friend of hers a few years ago, and I remember that she liked it a lot.

The private room at Niecy's? Don't know if it fits the budget (or party size) but is a nice space.

(or depending on the crowd...the champagne/ mattress loft at Voro???)

Benvenuti in East Hanover has a great party menu. Hot and cold appitezers (eggplant rolletini, fried calamari, clams, italain cold cuts, mozzarella and carozza (sp) plus other stuff, pasta, salad, main entree ( choice of chicken, fish or veal), coffee and a fruit platter. You supply cake. Last party we had there it was under 25.00 per person. Its also BYOB. The food there is excellent.

Don't know if you found a place yet, but we had my sister-n-laws at Cafe Arugula. It was great and they were very accommadating. They have a backroom so if you go on an off time Carlo will give it to you.
