Is there a NEW episode of Lost on tonight? There have been so many repeats, my head is spinning. |

According to Tivo and the TV guide both are 'new' tonight... Question. How come going on Season 3 haven't anyone of our beloved castaways lost weight? |

Very good recap and new episode tonight! (until my mom decided to sit in the den and ask me 100 questions)! Think I'll go watch at my friend's next week... And why was he hiding all the Mary statues? |

Um, because they have lots-o-heroin in them? Either that or he is saving them because once they start building houses on the island they will need something to put on their lawns. |

Enjoyed the episode but found Ekko's (echo?) one slash, two necks move to be a bit Chuck Norris movie-ish. Then again, the whole show is over the top, squared. |

I know there are drugs in them; but why is he hiding them? I first thought to prove to himself he didn't need them. Now I'm not so sure. With Ekko, does anyone else think it was his intention to sacrifice himself by crashing the drug filled plane himself? But his plans went astray when the island police showed up and the dealers shoved the real Priest on the plan? That 'black cloud' is symbolic in some way. Something was said about the good ones being on the list and that's why the children were taken. Gawd I which I was in a college psych right now. This would such a great show to use in class. I'm betting it is no accident the people who ended up on the island are there! Watch we'll find out they were all part of some experiment! |

I was doing a little surfing during lunch and found this on a Lost message board... enjoy fellow islanders! Regarding the black smoke: Went back & watched (3 times) with my son again frame by frame on the DVR. We find more things each time! Here's a list of what we found so far not necessarily in oreder: 1.) Jesus on top of the church (right side of screen) 2.) The man Eko killed for his brother (upper left) 3.) Some sort of cemetary(?) on bottom right 4.) His friend with the gold tooth (top left) 5.) Woman in flowered dress (center) 6.) A white haired or turbaned older person Not sure if we have seen this person yet. (upper left) 7.) A person looking to the left at her (top center) 8.) Upside down man in tree (top right) 9.) An eye lookiing down on the church (top center) 10.) Eko holding his brother when shot (top left) 11.) Another black young man holding what looks like Eko with his head back. Maybe something we haven't seen yet in a flshback? (left) 12.) Jesus figure from over his brother's shoulder inside the church. Sepia toned (left) 13.) An eye remains looking out (top) through several frames in a row. Most other objects go away after 1 or 2 clicks. Just to add to the theories out there, I think this was Eko facing down his past as he told Charlie, he was not afraid. He is ready to accept his pennance. Each person will have a different "monster" & after they get their lives right is when they "die". I also saw a theory awhile back that makes sense. What if these people are in a group therapy session, & the Dr is taking them there (the island) in their minds to work out their histories? If anyone has seen other things in the smoke, copy my list & add more! I am soooo hooked. LOL! Peace, ~Lou~ Lou clearly has a lot of time on his hands.. just wish I had taped last night's show so I could do a little "frame by frame" too. |

I so hope that they are NOT all part of an experiment. There is something about that that is a cop-out, too orchestrated. It would be more interesting if it were a great coincidence, or if the island called them all there for a reason (remember Locke said that the island brought them there?). Does anyone think they will get rescued? I would love to know what their friends/families at home are thinking or doing. (Yes, I do have too much free time.) I like the idea that the black smoke is each person's demons. Other than at Television without Pity, where is a good recap? Pretty good episode, although personally I like to watch the original Lostaways. |

Despite all the talking she did to annoy me my mom says she thought she saw a plane in the smoke. I told her we would have heard it... Right before he made him climb the tree there was a shadow of something that seemed ominous cast a shadow across the jungle. Thinking it was that black cloud of smoke. Pretty sure Ekko saw it too, which is why he had him climb the tree. Anyone else think the same thing? |

Is it just me, or given the opportunity to build a fire and sit down with "Zeke" the bearded man, wouldn't you have tried to make an ally and asked some questions? How long have you been here? How did you get here? Where are the children and why did you take them? Why won't we find Michael? |

I agree; I thought they could have tried to befriend the others and explain themselves and get some answers. Why did Zeke shoot Sawyer? Why did they go after the raft? Did anyone else notice that Zeke called "Alex" to bring out Kate? Alex is the name of crazy Rousseau's child who was taken by the others. Will we see Michael again? Will we see Walt again, for that matter? Is Libby an "other", as has been speculated on other websites? The previews for next week looked harrowing. What happens if everything goes up in smoke? Does it seem as though the show will be leaning toward more violence? And by the way, if you were going out on some sort of manhunt, why would you not get Eko and/or Sayid along? Jack should have stayed home. Sawyer should be on camera as much as possible. |

Yep - I'm sure it's Rousseau's Alex. And, you are SO right... what was Jack thinking a)telling Kate no (who didn't know she'd follow) and b)not calling for Sayid... not sure if he trusts Eko enough. AND... what's up with asking AnaAlicia to train an Army? Hello? What was Sayid's occupation? |

I feel so cheated. Didn't watch it.. but later thought that perhaps there might have been some clue we'd pick up on and use in the next new episode. But.. I'm getting bored with this treatment of reruns. |

I, too, thought there would be a clue, and thought that might be why this particular episode was chosen. However, it was not so. I like Hurley-centric episodes, though, so it was sort of OK. |
