It's back folks, and better than ever. Don't miss out on Maplewood and South Orange's most rockin' benefit of the year. It's a great, fun event, and as always, it benefits Habitat for Humanity of Newark:

And it is always the same bands. Why not open up and invite some newer sounds. 13 Scotland Road For Instance. Or Lazy Dog and the Chateau de Bow Wow...I hear they really rock |

Lazy Dog is a band? I thought Lazy Dog was a 'him.' |

I was just trying to bring some attention to a show that annually raises a good bit of money for a worthy charity. If I wanted snark, I would have posted it in the Soapbox. Leaving aside Duncan's ennui regarding the lineup, this event has always been a blast. I've been there as an audience member as well as a performer, and it's a great positive vibe. A lot of great musicians volunteering their time, a host of local businesses donating food and drink, and hundreds of local folks coming out, buying tickets, and having fun with their friends. Don't miss it! |

The poster came out great! I'm sure you'll get a great turnout! Not trying to be a jerk here, but can other bands play if they're interested? You know as an added 'surprise?' |

No don't confuse my desire for new blood as ennui. That was not my point at all. I wish you all well. But there has been an infusion of new bands to town and I just queried, out loud, as to when they might be involved. Rock on. or Groove on. of Funk on. As the case may be |

This show sells out every year. It's the best party of the year. I'd suggest you get your tickets early. |

fair enough Duncan. I'll be first in line to purchase a ticket to your benefit show featuring an infusion of new bands.

Agree with Jeff. This event is a blast. Even with the snow last year (we hoofed it over to sorrows from Parker). Can't wait for the fun. TK |
