Have some old interior shutters I'd like to rehab, but they've got some mold on them. Anyone know what I can use to get rid of mold spores on wood ahead of painting?

Tilex Mold and Mildew is very strong effective stuff if bleach doesn't cut it, you can see if the bottle says it is okay for wood. I think there are also mold/mildew-inhibiting additives you can add to the new coat of paint. If you have active mold growth, you might want to think of where else the mold might be growing, though, and see if you can reduce the humidity in that space.
