Any suggestions on where to buy a wall to wall carpet for 2 rooms including 2 sets of stairs? As always, looking for quality, but also definitely cost conscious. Thank you!

Some years back, I got very lovely carpeting at "The Eight Ciccolini (sp?) Brothers" in Nutley...it's about 20 minutes north via the Parkway. They are a very large appliance store and have been in business for 80 years. As I recall, their home furnishing and decorating area was pretty small, but I got good quality, dense pile carpeting at a very competitive price (with excellent installation). Ask for Bob C., one of the brothers there who is knowledgeable, always helpful, and very polite/not pushy. Good luck.

Cove Carpet in Summit for quality carpet installed at better prices.

The Square Yard in Summit for better installation, but you get what you pay for.

Carpet Depot on Rte 10 was quick, responsive and very reasonable. Keep a copy of the initial estimate worksheet, not just the final quote. We didn't pay close attention to the worksheet and things we were certain had been included in that initial price re-emerged as "extras".

We used Carpets for Less on Springfield Avenue and found them reasonable, quick and the installation was excellent.

I just had carpet installed in a playroom - went through Larry at Jasco Tile & Carpet on Rt 22 - he was great to work with, fine selection for my needs, fine price etc. Really were great when I had to change the installation date several times.
