It's about 25-30ft tall so I can't do it myself. It's growing over the roof and wrecking my roof in places. Does anyone know of a landscaper who will trim this back for me at a reasonable price?

There are quite a few tree services in the area. As always, I got three quotes before having my job done and I selected Frank's Tree Service. They did a great job and were very competitively priced. You can check the archives for a few references, or just sit tight - people will chime in with their favorites soon! |

Had three quotes: Maplewood -- slow to respond, and kind of, lost my interest. Save-a-tree -- high quote... actually told me Franks would be cheaper, but said, Frank's uses tree spikes to climb and cut... sometimes. (Apparently that's bad for the trees.) It depends on the team they hire. I used Frank's Tree Service and was very happy. They pointed out some additional branches that were growing close to an electical wire that the other quoters didn't notice. It was helpful. J.B. |
