We're in the process of deciding how fancy we want to go with our kitchen facelift- we've shopped around at countertop prices and sink prices, but I've heard installation of an undermount sink is labor intensive. Can anyone give me a ballpark number from their experience so I can see if it fits in our budget? This would be a 25" 18 gauge stainless steel single bowl replacement sink- the pipes are already down below. |

If you're getting a new countertop, the installation of the sink should be part of the service. Whomever is doing your countertop should do the sink as well. I used All Granite and Marble and I think it may have been $150 added to the price of the countertop. |

Most stone fabricators will insist on having the sink at their shop so they can dbl. ck. the cut-out and drill out and install the threaded inserts that the sink clips screw into.Ive always had good success at Arcade Marble on Central Ave. in East Orange.Tobias and his brother,Mario, are old world craftsman who do outstanding work. |
