Any recommendations on companies that install electric fences?

make sure your yard is big enough-the elec fence renders about 10-15' of space next to it unavailable for your dog to run/play etc-we went with a regular fence-after installer of elec fence said our yard was not big enough-and he fought with the salesman.

i have heard they don't always work. i know someone who has a dog that jumped(?) through. - supposedly the dog kept on jumping towards the fence & became more & more "numb" to it. - i guess eventually, he didn't really feel it enough to stop him. my friend said once this happened, she started talking to people & found out that there are a good amt dogs that break through.

speaking of which, there's a house on wyoming w/ 2 dogs that aren't out of the house all that much. - but, when they are out, they TERRIFY me & anyone else i know that passes by. actually, it's just one of them that is "scary". i think it's part pit-bull & it has the most extreme viscious bark/growl. it's held back by the electric fence, but i can't say that i totally feel safe from it due to my friend's experience (see above posting.) is there anything i can do? the owners have not done anything wrong, just made a few people need to change their undergarments (ewe...sorry!)

Rick B, I imagine you're joking (unfortunately, it wasn't very funny.) If you're not, it would be impossible not to walk by, I live very close.
