I noticed a sign the other day that the Sears Hardware in Essex Green is Closing.

I've never been a big fan of the place, but just thought that I'd pass the word, becuase perhaps you can now find some nicely discounted stuff there before they close....

Don't bother. I went there yesterday, and there was hardly anything left, AND what remained was not reduced enough. 10-40% when a store is closing?!?! But do keep a look out, I would LOVE a power saw for my birthday.

I was there on Saturday and there was plenty left, it just depends on if it's anything you want to buy at the price offered.
I agree that the percentage off could be more, but someone is buying the stuff....

It is very common with liquidation sales to pull all of the 'good stuff' from the store to distribute amongst the remaining stores and supplement the inventory with slow moving/outdated merchandise.
