I noticed a sign the other day that the Sears Hardware in Essex Green is Closing. I've never been a big fan of the place, but just thought that I'd pass the word, becuase perhaps you can now find some nicely discounted stuff there before they close.... |

Don't bother. I went there yesterday, and there was hardly anything left, AND what remained was not reduced enough. 10-40% when a store is closing?!?! But do keep a look out, I would LOVE a power saw for my birthday. |

I was there on Saturday and there was plenty left, it just depends on if it's anything you want to buy at the price offered. I agree that the percentage off could be more, but someone is buying the stuff.... |

It is very common with liquidation sales to pull all of the 'good stuff' from the store to distribute amongst the remaining stores and supplement the inventory with slow moving/outdated merchandise. |
