i have a silly question...when having a deck built or a house painted, do the companies that build/paint usually only take cash? |

I'd be surprised if that were the case. If you can pay cash, you can probably negotiate a discount. |

I think you are referring to paying by check or by credit card....I'd say most contractors I worked with took checks only, not credit cards. |

I have done a ton of home remodeling work over the years, and have always paid with checks. I have never heard of a home remodeling/renovations company taking credit cards, except Home Depot's contractors (but they suck anyway). |
