Ack-help needed with woodwork

We decided to have a handyman remove the wires and did not realize that half the wires were embedded in the wood around the windows and the woodwork on the floor. Now it all has to be repaired and some of the woodwork completely replaced. Just FYI, this stuff is NOT cheap! Our moldings are original walnut (stained), and its been an experience to say the least.
