Hi folks,

Just a product endorsement here... I just tried some Minwax rub-on polyurethane and the stuff is AMAZING.

Shake it up, rub it into the wood... light steel wool, second application and you're done! No brush marks, no spraying... its amazing.

If you're looking for a durable finish that's almost idiot proof, consider this stuff.

Case, do you know if it is as durable as conventional polyurethane? Just wondering whether it can be used on kitchen cabinets.

The only guidance I can give you is that it can NOT be used on floors, except as a touch-up. Its not as thick as conventional poly... however, for kitchen cabinets it seems like it might be OK with three coats. Don't forget the 0000 steel wool in between coats!
