I have a garbage disposal, which took up most of the room under our sink, and therefore had limited choices with sink filtration. I chose a special filter faucet, PureTouch made by Moen. It works well and the filter is easy to change.

We use it for cooking, washing food, coffee, etc. We have a free-standing spring water dispenser/cooler for drinking water.

PS. Moen is guaranteed "for life" and we've used this guarantee several times. Even though we have a water softener, the water in S.Orange has corroded our faucet parts, and we ultimately had to have a new one sent. The good is that we got the replacement faucet free. The bad is the plumbers had a hell of a time removing the "old" 5 yr old one due to corrosion and the plumbing bill for removal and new install wasn't cheap.
