any recommendations for an asbestos removal company? we have a radiator that is against an outside wall lined with asbestos insulation. the house is over 200 years old so this insulation is not working properly--we can feel a draft coming in from outside. hence, we would like an asbestos expert remove it so we can install new insulation. thanks for any leads you can provide. |

we used D&S Restoration (and abatement) for our basement. they did an adequate job, i think...actually after it was all over, i felt a little ripped off...

thanks, rick b. i have a premonition that i will feel exactly the same way afterwards using one of these asbestos removal companies. it's all a scam. at least that's how i felt after we installed 2 sump pumps in our basement for $5.5K. they prey on our fears.... |

I used D&S as well, and actually felt like they did a pretty thorough job at a reasonable price. About 1/3rd of other quotes... |

I agree...I thought they did a thorough job at our place too, just not sure how necessary the whole thing was (looking back on it now). |
