I remember a while ago there was a posting about John from True Thermal. He was hard to get hold of back last yesr - something about having a baby etc... and we have been trying to contact him - left a few messages - no answer - has he closed his business? So - we have a broken bathroom window - can anyone recommend a company that will come out and replace the glass? many thanks |

He closed his business? They installed our windows a few years back. Now another one has a problem & should be replaced. I guess we're screwed? |

kss, I could tell you stories about True Thermal Window that would make your hair stand on end. We endured 5 years of them replacing every single double hung window we bought from them, until finally they gave us all our money back and we installed Pella (still have to use moretite for drafts though). I might still have the actual factory numbers we called. Please call me at 973.761.1735 and I'll see if I can help you.

I just had True Thermal Windows do 28 windows in my house. Yes, it's sad to say John was forced out of business, but hopefully will return. We have nothing but good things to say with him and the 2 guys he brought in to do the windows. If you have a problem with your windows, give him a call. If you need a number private line me and I will give you a number.
When I found out about his problems, I gave him the option of getting out of the contract and he refused. I have worked with him in the past on another job and found him to always be professional. It may take time for him to get back to you, but he will. Have faith. |

Actually, I was meaning to call him. He replaced the windows in our attic/spare room. They put the window air conditioner back in and they did something to allow the window to open wider than normal. And now I have no idea how to get the air conditioner out! |
