Per recommendations of MOLers, we will probably be using Elite Chimney to rebuild the ancient chimney leading from the furnace to the roof. There's a definite leak. Thing is, this may be due to the fact that the old cement/brick chimney is cracked (visibly cracked), or per Elite may be due to condensation, or a combination thereof. Elite is also recommending doing a liner, another $1000-plus bucks. Ouch. I know many people think liners can be a rip-off. ANY opinions to share? Thanks!
