Can anyone recommend a good and reasonable electrician who will actually schedule the work in a timely fashion? We've been having terrible luck with follow-through after initial estimate visits.

We've always had good experiences with our guy, Jack Ackerman in Livingston 973-533-0461. (Never have used another.)
