I need to replace my gutters when I have my house repainted. Does anyone know how much copper gutters are vs. gutter guard type gutters or regular aluminum gutters. I have a good size two story house and wondered how many thousands you are talking about with copper.

We were given an estimate of $40/foot installed in the Midwest. I'm sure you can get them cheaper out here, or online. When I looked online, they were closer to $10/foot. But apparently they're harder to install, hense the incredible markup.

We were told to expect $25/foot for materials. The $10/foot was if I bought them direct from the manufacturer. These were 4" 1/2 round gutters with round downspouts. They also had K-style gutters, but I don't know the price on them (we weren't going to use the K-style). Since we needed about 300' (ranch house, 2 levels) we ended up with white aluminum 1/2 rounds. Which ended up working out great. And at $3000 total, significantly cheaper.
