We're having Rutgers come out and give us an estimate for exterior painting (maybe staining) of our house. We'll also need a little carpentry around some windows. In order to not just get one estimate, I'm also thinking about calling Jacek (sp?, got their name from these boards) and maybe Marios (he has an ad on MaplewoodOnline). Anyone have any experience with any of these or anyone else? --brent |

Jack (Jacek) of JC Painting is the best. His crew has been working for him for years and he's the nicest guy you'll ever meet. |

We have had a great experience with World of Colors for inside--I assume they do outside as well. I would recommend calling them in for an estimate.

Jacek is great. Also got quotes from Rutgers and Pintoa (sp?), either of whom probably would have been fine. Jacek was the most expensive but we still used him based on references from friends. |

We had Mario's Painting paint the exterior and one room in the interior of our house and were satisfied. They also had to replace a few shingles and reglaze a few windows. Several of our neighbors also used them with no problems. It's been nearly 2 years now, and the house still looks great. |
