Hi,

The utility supply lines from the street post to our neighbor's house are running through the top of our magnolia tree. While it has not yet become a serious issue, my wife pointed out to me that they are getting a little bit close to the branches.

Is this something the utility companies would handle, or is this something a tree service would do? I'm certainly not going to start trimming near high-amp electricity supply lines :-)

Thanks!

I would suggest having your own tree service do the trimming. There was a thread here about what happens when PSE abd G does the job and it ain't, apparently, pretty.
