Does anyone have a suggestion on who to contact to replace the cement floor in our garage? It is badly buckling, and we think it is probably due to the tree roots from the neighboring tree that are poking under. The tree is sadly going to be removed because it is leaning against the garage, and we want to make the garage more user friendly for storage, etc. We have one estimate already, from the people who we think will do some other structural work on the garage (replacing the sill plates and studs), but want to comparison shop. I did a search in the archives, but there wasn't much, and the most recent was two years old. Have any of you done this recently? What kind of prices did you look at? It is a two car detached garage, and although I don't know the square footage off the top of my head, hopefully that will give you an idea. Thanks! |

My nephew James is the foreman for a concrete business. He and his crew did my garage last fall and it looks great. He's a really hard worker, a recent college grad and an eagle scout! If you'd like, I could contact him and if his company is in the area, he could give you an estimate. |
