I'm considering installing Tru-Channel Storm windows by Harvey. Has anyone used them? Are they worth the extra expense? Our current storms are very old and leak (air), without going the replacement window route, what other options are out there? http://www.harveyind.com/product_info/storm_windows/tru_channel.asp |

Yes, had five Harvey Tru-Channel Storms installed in January on windows that the previous owner didn't put storms on. They made a big difference. In one instance where a Harvey storm was installed next to a window with an old storm, it was very noticeable. I ordered and had installed by a company based out in PA which Harvey had referred me to. Forget the name, but will find it if you want. They also recommened someone out in Warren County, but he was vacationing. Harvey would not sell the windows to me directly. |

I am having them installed in the next couple of weeks by C&P Black out of South Orange. I did a lot of research and they seem to be the best. pl me if you have any questions. |
