Need to have a new roof put on my garage. Had R&G come out but wanted to get a couple of more quotes (their quote seemed a bit high). Any recommendations?

Based on MOL recommendations, we got a new roof from Carlito's last month (201-991-4988). Great job.

I still recommend R&G. Their prices may be a bit high, but they get the job done right.

Wow...when we had our roof replaced 2 years ago, R&G (who did a great job) was the cheapest bidder!

Carlito's blew me off for a quote twice.
Competitive in Scotch Plains came out same day.

We had a really positive experience with R&G just before the winter. They were prompt, efficient, and did a great job.

After having trouble getting other area companies to return our phone calls, we took a friend's recomendation and called Bay Roofing (www.bayroofing.com). It was the most incredible customer service. They were quick and responsive-- and their pricing was very competitive. They completed our new roof this week. The owner Steve personally came out to look at the house and give a quote- and the other owner Dave was onsite as a project manager during the days they worked on our roof. He inspected the job at the end and had the crew come back again to fix a few things he wasn't pleased with Great Experience! Crew was clean and respectful. I highly recommend.

We are in homeowner hell with a roof put on by Scott's.

The first one he did was so botched that he sent a crew to rip it off and start over. Some problems were improved; new ones sprouted (like the rain inside our upstairs hallway & resulting mold and termites; gaping holes welcoming squirrels into our walls, and much more). Major runaround by his insurance companies who agree that there are damages but can't decide who should pay for what. It is complicated by the fact that Scott changed insurance companies two or three times during our ordeal. PL me if you want to hear/see more details.
