A time-honored topic but info from search seems to be stale...any recommendations gratefully received.

Safety, professionalism and cost in that order are my concerns.

Be well and play well, all.

Ahhh...the mysterious Two Guys...nobody seems to know who they are or where to contact them.

Dano, are you the exception? I know you'll be able to find that cancelled check....;-D

Does anyone have any contact info?

Many thanks and I intend for my small humans to swing well, indeed!

David

Hey Dan, thanks for looking...

I am quite sure that I will not be assembling as I'd be likely to injure myself and/or someone else!!

Anyone else know of the mysterious 2 guys (or 1 or 1.5...??) from Newstead?

Be well, all.

Just had Superspeed deliver and install our swingset.
Delivery was $69. Installation was $325 - but varies by model and the amount of work involved.
1-800-292-0188 - ask for Bill.

They came, they delivered, they installed.

No fuss - done in 3 hours.

Newstead:

May I ask what kind of swingset you had deleivered and assembled? Ideally, make and model and where you bought it, price too, if you feel like it.

Many thanks,

Swing well, all,

David

We bought the Monarch model at Toys R Us - from their store on Route 10 in Livingston - normally they are priced at $999 - we bought it for $899 (they had a one week sale - so they did a price adjustment for purchases within 14 days of sale). In addition, we paid
$69 for delivery (tax included)
$325 for installation (no additional gratuities were paid or expected)
So far, the kids love it and have played on it everyday. While the other models have slightly heavier construction - it really does not matter, as the playsets are firmly staked in the ground and can easily hold the weight of the kids.

We looked at a number of models - from the Costco (Sunray model) to the ones sold by the GM Fence lot on Route 10 to the Swingset warehouse before purchasing this model.

I did not want to spend more than $1,500 after tax, delivery and installation - and we ended up right about there.

I did speak to Superspeed about the Costco model - which has an in-store pickup price of $1,29 or $1,399 and they charge $500 to deliver and install that model.

Good luck

Bought the model from Costco which we LOVE. It was $1299 but offers more than any other that I found in that price range. We opted to pick it up ourselves (rented a uhaul for the day) rather than having Costco deliver for $300. We had Honey Do List install and they were fantastic! Overall a great experience.

Newstead: Thanks for reply; will post what we decide.

MHF: Glad you had a good experience and we'll try to duplicate. Did the Costco model seem as if it would fit in a Honda Odyssey minivan w/ seats removed?

Thanks and be well, all.

We took the Costco set home using two SUV-trips 2 years ago. It stuck a little out of the back window, but it worked fine & was worth saving the few hundred dollars.

Setup was not difficult, just a bit time consuming. However, with some nice weather & some good music, it was actually kind of fun.

Will these guys also help with making the ground level? I have dirt that needs to be digged out.

Pretty much the only thing Honey Do List LLC does not do is roofing and large additions. We do tiling, bathrooms, kitchens (on the existing footprint) flooring installation, refinishing, dry wall and whatever your little heart desires.

as far as bringing it home in a minivan...the kit consists of 6 boxes and a slide. the longest box is slightly over 8 feet long. the length of my minivan is just over 6 so there is no way it was fitting. just something to consider...

David, rent a U Haul. There's a U Haul place over in Maplewood near the recycling center. If I can drive one, you can!
