Hello MOL'ers,

Any idea (ballbark of course) on what it costs to make an extension to your kitchen going outside? If our kitchen it on the back side of the house, we were considering making a eat in kitchen/sunroom. Has anyone done this? What kind of permits are needed and are they easy to get? Any recommendations on a contractor?

Thanks, we're almost there!

The estimate we were given recently was $250-425 per square foot--everything dependent on finishes and such.

Can't help with a contractor as we are currently trying to find one ourselves.

I'd be willing to furnish an estimate, pictures of previous Maplewood work and references. Please call me at 973-610-3326 if you are interested. Thanks

A "Ball park" estimate can not be done as noted above, your finishes will dictate a majority of the costs.
You will need plans to proceed regardless so, do yourself a favor and call an architect. I can recommend a few if you wish.
