So who would I call to add an outside spigot at the front of our house? Is this expensive?

I think a couple hundred bucks. Do it your self.

J.B.--If you could do it for us for a couple of hundred bucks, I would be happy to talk to you.--If I could do it myself--I wouldn't have asked for suggestions.

Plumbing, unfortunately, is not one of our many home improvement talents...as all or our plumbing seems to be in the back of our house with no access to water in the front.

I read "add an outside spigot" as "to an existing one." Sorry.

I'll be quiet.

I'd call a plumber for an estimate. We use Gateway. We had this done, don't remember the cost though. Wasn't overly expensive but I'm sure it depends on where your pipes are located.

Had this done last year by Gateway. We combined it with other work they did and that reduced the cost signifiantly since it was one stop for them. I think it was a couple hundred if that was all they were going to do. The pipe they tapped in the basement was just a few feet away from where the spigot appears on the other side of the wall.
