Our wallpaper/painter is now MIA mid job. Does anyone have a recommendation? I have had World of Colors come to the house for an estimate 2ce & did not use them because our guy came highly recommended & was about the same price. Now I am too embarrassed to call WOC back. |

Try Jorge Mera - he did a fabulous job. I used William Morris wallpaper that was a million dollars a roll and I was terrified of using anyone. It looks so good and he did SUCH a good job, I will never use anyone ever again. If you do a search on his name in MOL you can find his number. great guy, too. m |

We have used Dilly Brothers in Springfield and love them. They are concientious and clean up and reasonable in price. I don't have the number handy but it should be listed. |

I have a related question... Can wallpaper be "patched"? We also used the million dollar a roll William Morris wallpaper and now I have a section gouged out! I have extra rolls of the paper in the basement and I was wondering if it is possible to redo a vertical section without having to redo the whole wall.

It can but there are some things to consider...like maybe you will find that the existing paper has faded, or is a little dirty from handprints etc. and so the patch may not blend in. Also if you are going to paper over the offending section without removing it first, there may be an uneven thickness to the patch.
