"They" say that you should seal granite countertops every 6-12 months.

Do you do it?

When I looked in The Home Depot for stuff to use, they had some 4-step kit that seemed like way too much.

Can someone recommend a cleaner & sealant that they've had good experience with? Thanks

I just bought a sealer yesterday from Home Despot for something like $54...I probably should have shopped around. Its not a 4 step application. The bottle says it lasts 20 years and I asked the guy at the store why do the granite people say do it annually if it last 20 years and he (unsurprisingly) did not have a good answer.
