Wood floors in need of repair

Unfortunately the pleasure of ripping the carpet out has now been replaced by the reality, that the previous owners were not just following the trend for wall to wall, but were likely making a practical decision in light of the condition of the floor. The good news is the floor is oak, the bad news is I am looking for recommendations for floor repair. I would welcome recommendations, of floor finishers, or carpenters to fix the floor which appears to be water damaged, stained and buckled in places.
