I have a very old sprinkler system that needs to be updated and tinkered with. I don't use the sprinker system very often, but I'd like to get it up and running so that when I do use it, it actually works properly. I am looking for a reasonable company, or an individual, that works with sprinkler systems. The last company I used was very expensive, and unlike other home improvements (i.e. electrical and plumbing), I don't use my sprinkers enough to justify spending tons of money to get it up and running. Thanks all. |

I'm actually close to having a sprinkler system installed for the first time. I've spoken with and gotten quotes from: Superior Lawn Sprinklers (800-464-3301) and Spring House Irrigation (908-273-6299). Spring House's quote was 2x as much as Superior's. Both were recommended by neighbors. I'm in the process of finding out why the huge difference in price. Anyway, give them a call if you haven't already. bklyngirl |

We used All County to put ours in last year. They gave me a quote, I asked if they were on crack, and it was immediately reduced. A lot. So, don't count out negotiation. I was fairly pleased with the job they did. Although, I wish I had known that they were going to put down grass seed. They used standard Rye, which grows faster than the rest of my lawn, so now I'm dealing with that. I'd have rather gotten my own seed; it's cheap enough. All County 973-904-1001. |
