I would have posted this in "Suggestions" but it seems to be closed for the time being. Is it possible to categorize the home fix-it section like the Education section? The same posts on the same topics show up every couple of days, and it would be great to have them in apropriate sections (ie Contractor Recommendations, Plumbing, Electrical, etc) |

Please, no. That killed the cooking section, and it's killing the education section.

WHy does it kill a section? If it belongs anywhere, it's in a reference style section like HOme Fix it.....you can't find anything archived, and the search function very rarely pulls up comprehensive subject material....Maybe subject lines aren't good for other sections, but why not here? |

I think the problem would be that subjects often drift or combine (when are home projects ever really isolated by one issue?) and it would be hard to categorize. There is a fair amount of "who would do this.." asking about plumbers, masons, GCs. etc. Where would those go? I think sub-categorizing would just add to the layers of places to look when following a thread. |

I hate the new education section, please don't do this to home fix-it too! |
