Need new sidewalk

That is the towns responsibility. I had someone from public works come out and validate the fact that the trees in the strip were responsible for the heaving and the town is replacing the sidewalk. They had the guy out to look at their sidewalk. The town was not very cooperative about the situation, their intial response was that it was the homeowners responsibility. I guess my neighbors kept moving up the food chain and finally got someone to take care of it. Thankfully they informed all of the surrounding neighbors and a good majority of the sidewalk on my entire street is going to be fixed. I wouldn't call the town and ask who is responsible because you will probably get the same intial response. Jsut tell them you need them to fix it.
