So, I posted a few weeks ago looking for someone to install a new bilco/basement door. I also called virtually every contractor in the book and almost no one does it, and those who do want a LOT of money because they say they have to rip into the foundation to properly remove it and the rebuild the foundation around it.
One guy actually recommended talking to someone about repairing it instead. The hinges and spring mechanism are busted.
So, can anyone recommend a welder (?) or other metal expert that might be able to help me out here?
