Seems they have a really great price on granite, as noted in the other thread, at $60 sq. foot, installed. Not going to be much of a deal if they don't follow through on installation. I know Home Depot sucks at most installation (or at least I've heard they suck at kitchen installations), so I wonder if this place has a good or bad reputation when it comes to purchase and installation. Anyone have any experience, or know anyone who does, or know of a reference on-line where I might find out more? |

We used the great indoors to install Zodiaq (quartz solid surface) The process was quick, easy, and painless.(unlike my past home depot experiences) The installation was actually done by Marvic (counter top contractors) who is located right across from the HomeDepot/Expo on Springfield avenue. |

We used the Great Indoors and got a great deal about 1 year ago on the granite. It was ridiculously low and I've never seen the special again with them (can't remember exactly but it was less than $45 per square foot installed. You had a choice of a few different colors and it even included the beveled edging or whatever you call it. The color I loved and really wanted above any other color was one of the choices so it was perfect! Anyway, I was very happy with them throughout the whole process. We headed to a local warehouse to select our own slab of granite and they were really nice there and the installer was a local guy who was EXCELLENT. Knew exactly what he was talking about, took as long as they said it would and it looks beautiful. My Dad (a stickler for these kinds of things) still raves about how beautiful they got the seams. |

Thanks guys. Was hoping for folks who had some first hand experience with The Great Indoors. Probably won't get this deal because we have to purchase by this Saturday, May 27, and install by August 15, and we haven't even broken ground on the addition yet. But still, the $60 sq. foot installed is a good deal in and of itself. And now that I know they come through with flying colors on installation, I'll probably head there when the time comes to do the granite. |
