We are just about to invest in a redundant 10x12 space attached to our kitchen and add a deck. We're looking for a few hours (max) of a local designer who can walk through the future floorplan with us so we don't make the space worse. Mostly we want a consult to finalise where to position doors, deck entrance, furniture and storage. No formal drawings needed just tried and tested suggestions/logic. We want to do all the rest ourselves. Has anyone tried this and was it worthwhile? Any recs and guidance on an hourly rate? |

Hi Genki, Unfortunately I just got your message, as it ended up in my "junk" box since my computer didn't recognize the source. And you didn't give me your contact info, so I had to search on MOL to find this thread again. Call me at 973-763-3713 and give me a way to contact you directly, or email me and give me your contact info that way. This is something I do for cients, and they have been very pleased that they had me look at their plans. Ended up altering the walls for one client who is still talking years later about how much of a difference it made to the enjoyment of the addition. |
