We are getting ready to start renovating our kitchen and am wondering if anyone here have a suggestion of how we can get rid of the old kicthen cabinets and plastic floor in the most inexpensive way. |

It depends on how much you have. If you have enough to fill a dumpster and are willing to pack it correctly (no air spaces) this is probably the way to go. If you have just a few items one of the trash pickup services mentioned here would probably be more reasonable. |

Post some pictures of the cabinets, and offer them free - I recently used a bunch of retired kitchen cabinets to redo my basement workshop. When you consider plain jane cabinets at Depot or Lowes can start at $50 each, someone looking for a bunch of cabinets for a shop or garage may jump at them. |

I agree with Bill. If they're in decent shape, either sell them inexpensively or offer them free. Post pics on the classifieds. Ya' never know!

Thanks for the ideas. We don't really have a whole lot of garbage, it wouldn't fill a dumpster. The old cabinets were about 40 y.o. and were completely falling apart. So noone would be able to use them. We just put the tile floor this weekend. It's looking good already! |

If it's just a small pile call Fred Hodges. He and his crew will take it away for you. Number has been posted. |
