Anyone know of any photo galleries online that I can get ideas for backsplash tile. I just need to do the part behind my stove. It's a small area and I just want to do some kind of design in that space to set it apart and am looking for ideas...

Thanks!

If you really want to set your kitchen apart do what I did. I bought tile, had someone paint a scene (in my case it was a basketful of pink geraniums) with the paint they sell at Michaels. After the painting is done on the tile you bake it in the oven and it becomes impervious like regular finished tile. If you are artistic you could do it yourself. I priced similar designs in a tile store and they were about $3000.00. I found someone who drew it out for me on graph paper and when I approved it, she laid out all the tiles then painted each one to correspond with the graph layout. It cost me about $450.00 for her work. If you'd like I could show it to you.

Pete - lots of stuff there, thanks!

Sherri - thanks for the offer, I appreciate it, but that's not really my cup of tea....
