Hey gang. In our semi-gutted kitchen we uncovered some way-old wall paper and we'd like to keep a small patch of it (maybe 6" square) for fun & posterity. Anyone know the best way to gently lift and frame the fragile stuff? (Hope this isn't too way off the usual fix it biz discussed here.)
PS. Also found wads of old coal and other house utility receipts from the late 50's crammed up alongside the flu (sp?). Love that kind of stuff!

Not what you asked, but I have seen buildings with a little framed/glassed (or covered by a removable piece to reveal) section that shows the old wall beneath...so it's kept in place. Called a "truth window" http://www.potkettleblack.com/natbild/sarahtree/
