Shibby, We're using Carmine's to rebuild a bluestone porch and install a new bluestone walkway to match. Matt is really great, and he'll be doing the work in early July. If you haven't settled on anyone by then, I'll let you know how it comes out. (www.carmineslandscaping.com) brent |

We also used Matt from Carmine's Landscaping. He did a really nice job on our walkway and patio for us. Give them a call at 973-763-6626 |

Luigi did our walkway last year. It's okay but the seams are a little wider than we wanted. You are welcome to take a look at it.

Luigi did our front steps and curved walkway. I love their work and prices. They just did our patio in the back. Take a look at the pictures I posted in the "backyard" thread in this section.

thanks for the input. I will check out Carmines. but if Luigi comes recommended, we really liked their price. now we just have to decide whether to do a slate walkway or all brick... bluestone (sadly) is a bit too pricey. leaning toward the slate... thanks |

By Monday, I should be able to tell you about Avellino. They come very highly recommended, and in fact advertise on this board. They're doing an installation of a new front walkway and terrace for me on Monday and Tuesday...mapping out the layout on Saturday. So far, my dealings with Billy Avellino have been nothing short of fantastic. They are professional, courteous, thorough, and pleasant -- and this is just the preparations for the actual installation. They also have plenty of ideas as to what will look good, designs, materials, etc. I will say, they run about three to four months out in terms of scheduling their jobs, so if you want it done quickly, they probably can't accommodate you....there is quite a wait. But I am betting the wait will be worth it. And I'll know by Monday/Tuesday! |

Luigi did a great job for us last year. We did a concrete walkway lined with brick, bluestone and brick steps, and a bluestone landing. Sounds busy but doesn't look it. We have gotten lots of compliments. PL me if you want to come see it.

Luigi built a brick porch and installed a paver walkway for us. His work is very good and his prices can't be beat. |
