We have a toilet that constantly runs and when husband tried to "fix" it, caused mayhem in the basement pipes (water leaking/running out of a few pipes). I think he opened up some additional water valves that were closed. Luckily leaking is stopped and water restored but toilet is still running. Obviously we want to stop the running, but I'm also concerned about the water coming out of the pipes. And what if something like this happens when I'm [GASP] alone! I think hiring a plumber to come by and do a check of the new house would be a smart thing and while he's there we could get some tips and how to handle some easier crises. Have anyone in mind that could fill this need? Thanks! |
